Soul to Soil Farm.  (Note:  This session runs until 5:15 pm) Group will depart at 3:00 pm from the Marriott main lobby and take RTD Light Rail to the farm. 

Phipps Conservatory and Denver Botanic Gardens will offer an overview of their urban farming initiatives, with emphasis on the educational programming and the economic and social impact on the markets served. This will be an off-site presentation. See the farm. Taste the produce. Talk to the farmers. Key issues to be addressed: 1) reaching and impacting underserved populations; 2) finding new partners; 3) engaging volunteers; 4) improving community health.
